A new swedish advertising agency called Very Much Logo McCann recently produced a commercial for a swedish “extreme conference company” called Ski Unlimited and published it at Break.com. They claimed that it was ordinary people doing the skiing and the voice overs in the clip is pretty funny too. If you understand swedish that is.
The skiers aren’t that ordinary though, one of them are Jamie Pierre. Not sure who the others are.
This seasons outerwear from Volcom wasn`t as impressive as the one two seasons ago. Some bits of it was really cool, but as always with Volcom too much is too close to sell out. Now the s/s gear is starting to dropping. And as usual Volcom is better when it comes to swim wear, sun wear surf wear – you get the drill.
At Volcom girls you`ll find some goodies. Shirts, skirts and assorted swim wear. Looks good.
All new for spring/summer 08 is the latest range from Etnies +. Our favourites are the Junior and the Isaac. It kind of reminds us of a model Etnies + did some two seasons ago. A bit like a desert boot, but still sneakerlike. The Isaac however is more in the style of a wallabee. As always Etnies + comes with hi tech (sti footbed)and premium quality!

Even tough it`s in the middle of the season a lot of the snowboard shops (both online and irl) are having huge sales. So it`s a good time to upgrade your gear – and at a good price.
We went out and bought the Cartel Lo-Back – Trevor Andrews favourite. It seems to be versatile and good all round binding. But still one the freestyle side. I`ve tried the o.g. Cartel but I never like the hiback. Apparently the Lo-Back is a bit different from the “real deal”. But I guess we`ll soon find out. We`re sending out Ellen (proud member of the KiNK family) to Åre in a week to test the bindings.

I know it`s hard to think about surfing in the middle of february and with the European alps drowned in pow pow. But still our spanish friends at Pukas gives us a short teaser of the coming spring and summer. I bet they are even out now surfing. For us, the latest we´ve surfed is Hossegor in septembre/october. And that was big, messy and chilly enough for us. Anyway keep coming back for more news from Pukas.
Snowboarder Darrell Mathes joins the WESC-family. As a swede that makes me really proud. Also this finally gives WESC a own gang of some of the best snowboarders. Ever.
Amongst the dedicated followers of WESC we have for a long time found both swedish legend Ingemar Backman and the finnish superstar Jussi Oksanen.
