“In Short” – Blank Paper Studio

“In Short” is the name of the follow up to “91 words for snow” from Blank Paper Studio. The film will premier this weekend in Europe and you will probably be able to get your hands on it pretty soon.

The film consists of five different short films from locations all over the world. It’s not a regular snowboarding film in it’s ordinary meaning. I didn’t like “91 words for snow” that much. Perhaps I had to high expectations, but hopefully I will like this one better.

Featuring Mikey LeBlanc, Christoph Weber, Mike Basich and many others

“Fly away with me”

Pretty impressive video clip of Loic Jean Albert and some other guys BASE-jumping wearing wingsuits and flying really close to the mountains and ground below. Check out how close that Espin guy is to the road with the cars on it. The location is “Spiret” or “the spire” in Norway.

Smith Cascade Competition

There’s a competition over at Onboard right now where you can win a pair of Smith Cascade every day until the last of January. Pretty good chances there. If you’re in need of a new pair of goggles all you have to do is to sign up and you might just win a pair.

Dakine Heli Pro 2007

White is the color of this years Heli Pro backpacks from Dakine. They are available in other styles than the white ones but I think the white ones look the freshest. I don’t know how long you’ll be able to keep it that good looking with dense forests and dirty chairlifts.

The difference between the regular Heli Pro and the Girl Heli Pro is that the harness is designed to fit a girls body better than the regular one and the design of it.

Some of the features:
– Deployable water bottle pocket
– Diagonal ski carry
– Fleece lined goggle pocket
– Insulated hydro sleeve
– Snowboard cross carry
– Vertical snowboard carry
– Waterproof, fleece lined camera pocket
– Quick draw ice axe sleeve
