Smokin Snowboards presents: The D.I.R.T Rocker for 09/10. A rocker which gives you fluent ride in pow and catch free. Did we mention that it makes even pow boards jib friendly?
The D.I.R.T Rocker is another new technology. Following the success of rocker boards Smokin now presents the D.I.R.T Rocker. Smokin gives us a new style with something called inner rocker between the bindings and outer rocker from the bindings. I guess the feeling is more similar to the rocker on the Signal Park Rocker than the Skate Banana.

I will handle distribution in Sweden, Denmark and maybe Norway. Not the whole of Europe:D
Regarding DIRT rocker. I would say it is more like Libs Banana Tech than anything else since the rocker between the feet is more pronounced than the rocker outside the bindings. The rocker outside the binding areas is very subtle. Also the combination with Magne Traction makes tha ride more similar to BTX than any other rocker tachnology out there.

D.I.R.T rocker part II.
I recieved samples and paper catalogs today. Smokin have actually changed the rocker since releasing the PDF catalogs. The D.I.R.T rocker boards are completely flat between the bindings and have 5 mm of rocker outside the bindings. I quote the catalog:
“The area of the board underfoot and between the bindings is completely flat. By having zero camber beneath the feet, D.I.R.T Rocker boards are able to maintain the stability of traditional camber boards while giving a looser, more playful feel. Because D.I.R.T Rocker boards have Magne Traction, turn initiation and edgehold is improved. Due to their pre curved shape, they take less energy to turn. With more transfer of energy underfoot and less towards your tip and tail, they reduce hangup on rails.”

The D.I.R.T is a technology and not a single snowboard. We´ll soon post more pictures + info regarding all Smokin snowboards 2009 – 2010.

D.I.R.T rocker tecnology + Magne Traction = DTX
DTX is available on all models and all sizes on 09-10 Smokin Snowboards.
All models are also available with Magne Traction and regular camber = MTX.

So you can actually take these boards off the big just in the park and go ride the steep stuff while still feeling stable? because I can’t with my banana. Never summer has camber outside the bindings as do select lib and gnu boards with c2 power banana.
