Niseko: Ski resort in Japan

Nice people, deep snow and good food. Niseko is made up of three resorts: Grand Hirafu, Higashiyama, Niseko Annupuri. The resort is located on Hokkaido about 3 hours drive from Sapporo or Chitose Airport and has a more relaxed attitude to out-of-bounds riding. The lifts are open from 8:30 am to 8:30pm. This year Nisenko had a recorddump and by 12th december they already had 2 metres of fresh snow. Niseko is considered as one of the top 5 resorts in Japan and is known for easy access fantastic powder.
