That’s the name of Mack Dawg Productions new snowboarding film coming this fall. MDP have been around for a while now and as always with their films, this one looks really great. Check out the video below or the quicktime version at this page.
DVS shoes together with five respected skateboard photographers have a new line of shoes called “The photographer series”. Each of the photographers picked a DVS style and customized it with the materials, colors and graphics that reflects them. Inside the shoeboxes you’ll find five collector’s postcards.
It looks like all of them, except Giovanni Reda’s, have one or several photos printed in or on them. They look pretty nice if you ask me. I haven’t had any experience with DVS shoes though.
“Let’s get physical” is the name of an online competition that WeSC have right now. The deal is that you create a song and upload it over at their website and you’ll be rewarded with a pair of WeSC headphones. Nice huh? That’s not enough though, ten winners will be selected to go to London and shake their stuff at a WeSC and Vice party this summer.
Read the guidelines and upload your song. The number of headphones is limited.
Here’s a video clip with the history of snowboarding told in two minutes. As we all know there’s a lot more to it than what’s told in this two minutes but it’s pretty fun history lesson.
So check it out and comment on what you think they’ve missed. I kind of would like to have seen Shaun White in the ending of it.
MMA is a website where you can submit your art and win some prizes. The interesting part is that the the art you submit must be sent through the mail and visible for the postman. In other words you can submit an envelope with your art on and let the address be a part of your artwork if you like.
They have received some pretty cool stuff so check them out.
Keep footwear has been out there for a while. Producing high quality shoes for women only. Now it seems as if they might really break.
100% cotton canvas, natural gum rubber and overall a focus on environment and on society. As it is stated on the web site:
“All Keep footwear is produced in Brazil. We chose our factory based on their dedication to high standards for quality as well as for their labor and environmental policies. ”
The shoes are really good looking, and seems to be comfy. The only problem is that they are actually quite hard to get. You should be able to find them at Livestock (the pic is stolen from this ultra cool canadian shop. Sorry…) and directly from Keep footwear.
