Snowkid is a new swedish snowboard film from “Snowkid Productions”. This being the first film from SP they simple named it “Snowkid”. It’s supposed to be a tribute to all the old snowboard films you watched on VHS which made a lot of us start snowboarding. The film will be out this fall, distributed in stores, with Transition Magazine and for free download (in the future).

Icelandic based streetwear – and since last year – outerwear company Nikita has dropped Atikin.
Atikin – for men who ride. You heard it. This is just like Nikita but for men. Sounds good to us! Nikita have produced street smart clothes for girls for years. But as every guy who have tried on the Nikita clothes knows – it has been for girls who ride only.
So far Atikin seems to be kind of hard to lay your hands on. But hopefully that will change. Who knows – we might even get some outdoor clothing soon…
Came across this german invention called “roadbag”. You’re supposed to use the roadbag while on a roadtrip and for some reason can’t stop and take a leak. The inside of the roadbag have a superabsorbing material that prevents spillage. So this is pretty much a luxurios version of a gallon jug. Pretty nasty if you ask me.
In connection with the Bicycle Film Festival PUMA asked a bunch of partners and creative teams to create bicycles made from recycled parts and only with $200. The bikes will be at display at the BFF north american tour and at the end of the tour the bikes will be auctioned off with proceeds going to bike charities.
Check out the Re-Bike website for more photos of the URB bike (seen below) and the other bikes.
Onboard Digital is a free digital magazine with videos, flash, photos and text. Every two weeks there will be a new issue sent to your email address. Everything is free and if you sign up today you might even win a complete Set-up from Forum. First issue will be out october 17th.
The site says it’s the North American edition, so the focus will be on that but it will probably be interesting for us not residing there.
One other nice thing is that the paper edition of Onboard is moving to recycled paper. Issue 91 is the first one printed on recycled paper and is called “The Eco Issue”.
