Cool watches from Nixon

Christmas is soon here so why don’t you spoil yourself with a christmas gift. Nixon does really nice looking watches, primarily for the street and urban lifestyle but also for an active lifestyle. The have some edge but they are still clean. If you want to see them live, go to your local dealer that sells skate, surf, snowboard. I’ve scanned their collection of watches and chosen some of coolest ones. Some of them are new for the fall and some are old.

New boards with an old look

Arbor is a brand that I don’t know too much about, but they make really cool surf-inspired skateboards and snowboard. They are using Hawaiian Koa to give them the killer look and good flex. I think these boards should be used to ride bottomless powder rather than the park to honor the surf roots.

The moneyshot

You might have seen the ad for “Peak Performance” with a skier. Do you wonder who has taken the picture? It’s swedens very own Mattias Fredriksson, one of the worlds greatest “ski photographer” if you ask me. Same picture covered the october issue of the american magazine Powder.

Nice bags from Burton

If you’re going to travel you might as well do it with class. This years cleanest bags are from Burton, or entire collection you might say. They have all sort of bags and packs but also jackets and pants with the same look. They come in two different styles, I haven’t decided which one is the nicest, “Plaid mocha” eller “Houndstooth Rust Plaid”

Edge back from the dead?

Edge - intense living magazineA couple of years ago there was a skatemagazine in sweden called Edge, there also was a tv show with the same name if I remember corretly. This magazine were redesigned and became something totally different. Now there’s a new magazine with the same name. I don’t know the history behind it.

The magazine isn’t sport specific, it haves articles about climbing, skiing, multisport, cycling and other adventure sports. It also contains longer articles about travel destinations and interviews with persons in the mentioned sports. Writing is in swedish.
