The Cap is a cool and very functional stool from Swedish design company Don´t Feed the Swedes.

The guys behind the company are well established in the design- and music scenes in Stockholm. The Cap has been a ongoing project for nearly five years. And now it´s finally out.

With Cap we want to pay homage to an artform and culture which has inspired and provoked thoughtful expression across the world; Graffiti. It’s an iconic tribute piece to the personalities and works which gives Cap its inspiration. Here´s a short clip featuring Laura Hadar! We´ve been fans of her since way back. But no mather which movie you check out – you rarely actually see her snowboard ( the Float movie is great!). Too often she is just goofing around. So it´s nice to see her shred. Since a year or so she rides for Capita. And I guess she´s still on Nike as well.

The new Videograss movie is coming this winter!

So the season is getting closer everyday. Personally I just came back from a trip to Iceland with some serious hiking and had my first feeling for the coming fall. And now the news from the snowboard brands are starting to drop.

Anyway, here´s the latest news from Burton. And frankly it looks pretty much the same as the last couple of years.

All legends – no fillers. Mr Rob Dyrdek talks down all non skateboarding activities such as Mountain Dew competitions, collabs etc. That´s the best part in this trailer. The movie itself? It´s going to be great!

In the middle of the summer Volcom gives us the trailer of what will most likely be the only snowboarding movie need to be bought for the coming season (yes the Airblaster movie looks nice, but Volcom always does it much more arty, fun and progressive). The name is 9191 – thou the nicj is already just the Gigi Ruf movie.

We´ve been big fans of Jim Grecos Shoes for a long time. His skating is awesome, his apperance might be a bit….childish. But the Suprano was great (especially the pillz design) and the Thunder low is a must. These are the only skate only shoes that I´ve bought in recent time. Otherwise the Cons is a favourite. But that´s a different story.

The Thunder low is coming in a nice yellow colour for the fall. Remember back in 99 when yellow was the main colour? triple 5 Soul, Rookie, French hip hoppers – everyone was wearing yellow. This might be the start of a revival! The model also comes in a awful pinstripe design.

DVS and Torey Pudwill is releasing this special version of Pudwills pro sho for the cph pro. Every year they make a special version of a shoe from DVS. Last year it was the hip store Le Fix who designed the collab. this year it´s artists Victor Lieberath and Kristian Funder.

Cph Pro is on 23 – 27 june. In Copenhagen – where else?
